The Ecobee3 Lite was directly succeeded and replaced in Ecobee's product lineup by newer hardware tiers, specifically the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced and the entry-level Ecobee Smart Thermostat Essential. These modern replacements offer updated glass touchscreens, faster processors, and improved smart home platform integrations while maintaining the accessible price point and reliable hardwired performance that made the Ecobee3 Lite popular. Verification: Compare the feature sets of the Enhanced and Essential models on the official Ecobee website before purchasing.
