A group of baby goats is commonly referred to as a trip, crash, or herd of kids. In agricultural and zoological terminology, while a collection of adult goats is termed a herd or trip, newborn or young goats are specifically called "kids," and when they gather or bound about playfully in a group, farmers and herds often affectionately call them a crash of kids.
