Johns Manville makes a full range of insulation types for residential, commercial, and industrial use, covering almost every application. For residential homes, the main types are fiberglass batts and rolls, sold under names like ComfortTherm and standard kraft-faced batts in R13 through R38 for 2x4 and 2x6 walls, attics, and floors. Second is blown-in fiberglass, with Climate Pro formaldehyde-free blown-in fiberglass for attics and Spider custom spray-in fiberglass for walls that is sprayed with a light adhesive to fill cavities without settling. Third is mineral wool batts, sold as MinWool Sound Attenuation Fire Batts for soundproofing and fire resistance in interior walls and party walls. Fourth is rigid foam boards, including AP Foil-Faced polyiso foam sheathing with R-values up to R6.5 per inch for exterior walls and CI Max polyiso. Fifth is Johns Manville also makes commercial and industrial insulation including Microlite and Micro-Aire duct insulation, pipe insulation like Micro-Lok HP, and industrial boards for high temperature. Sixth is spray foam through its acquisition of JM Corbond, offering Corbond closed-cell and open-cell spray foam systems. The residential products all feature formaldehyde-free binders, are GREENGUARD Gold certified, and are designed for thermal, acoustical, and fire performance.
