Yes, KeepRite, correctly spelled Keeprite, is owned by Carrier Global Corporation. Keeprite is one of the residential HVAC brands manufactured by International Comfort Products or ICP, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Carrier. Carrier acquired ICP in 1999, and ICP operates its main factory in Lewisburg, Tennessee, where it builds several brands on shared assembly lines including Keeprite, Tempstar, Heil, Arcoaire, Comfortmaker, and Day and Night. All of these brands share many identical internal components such as Copeland scroll compressors, all-aluminum Micro-Channel coils, and heat exchangers designed by Carrier engineering. Before Carrier ownership, Keeprite was part of an independent group of HVAC companies with strong Canadian distribution through companies like Master Group. Today, the corporate nameplate on a Keeprite furnace or air conditioner says International Comfort Products LLC, a Carrier company, Lewisburg, TN. Carrier Global itself is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. So while Keeprite is marketed as a value and mid-tier brand distinct from the flagship Carrier brand, it is indeed owned by Carrier, uses Carrier engineering, and is backed by Carrier warranties, but sold through independent distributors rather than Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers at a lower price point.
