Completing a transaction using Radio Frequency identification technology—commonly known as contactless tap-and-go payments using RFID-enabled cards, key fobs, or mobile wallets—involves bringing your payment device close to a point-of-sale terminal reader. When checking out at retail stores, transit gates, or petrol stations, look for the contactless wave symbol on the payment terminal. Hold your contactless credit card, debit card, or smartphone equipped with digital wallet apps within a few centimeters of the reader screen.
