How does SGS work?
Singapore Exchange (SGX) operates as the premier multi-asset securities and derivatives exchange in Southeast Asia, generating its revenue through three core business segments: Equities, Fixed Income and Currencies, and Data, Connectivity and Indices. The exchange makes money by charging clearing, settlement, and trading fees to market participants executing transactions in equities, bonds, foreign exchange futures, and commodity derivatives. Additional revenue streams are captured through issuer listing fees, corporate action processing charges, annual maintenance fees for listed companies, and selling real-time market data feeds, financial indexes, and co-location data center connectivity services to global financial institutions.
