Does Walmart sell 50 lb bags of sand?

Yes, Walmart sells 50 pound bags of sand, though selection varies by store and season, and they often sell them both in store in the garden center and online. Walmart carries several types of 50 lb bags including all-purpose sand, play sand, paver sand, concrete sand, and pool filter sand from brands like Quikrete, Sakrete, and their own store brands. All-purpose and play sand in 50 lb bags typically cost about 6 to 10 dollars at Walmart, which is competitive with Home Depot and Lowes. They also sell smaller bags like 25 lb and 10 lb for crafts and aquariums. During spring and summer, Walmart stocks more sand for landscaping and kids sandboxes. Online, Walmart.com offers a wider variety including specialty sands like black blasting sand, white sandbox sand, and polymeric sand that can be shipped to store or home, though heavy bags may have extra shipping fees. Not every Walmart supercenter keeps 50 lb bags in stock year round, so it is best to check stock online by entering your zip code. If your local Walmart does not have 50 lb bags, they often have 40 lb bags as an alternative. Walmart also sells bulk sand toys and sandbox kits.
