Yes, some bees are friendly in sense that they are docile, not aggressive toward humans, and rarely sting unless threatened, though all bees can sting if provoked, so friendly means less aggressive and more tolerant. Many solitary bees like mason bees, leafcutter bees, and mining bees are considered very friendly because they are solitary, do not defend nests aggressively, and rarely sting humans, and they are important pollinators that can be encouraged in gardens with bee hotels. Bumblebees are generally docile and friendly, with fuzzy appearance and slow movement, and they will usually ignore humans unless their nest is disturbed, though they can sting if handled. Even honeybees are generally not aggressive when foraging for nectar and pollen, and they will usually fly away if left alone, stinging only when they feel threatened or when defending hive, as honeybee sting is suicidal and they die after stinging, so they avoid stinging unless necessary. Carpenter bees, which look like large bumblebees, are also relatively friendly, with males unable to sting and females rarely stinging. So while no bee is friendly in sense of wanting to interact like pet, many species are docile and beneficial, providing essential pollination for crops and gardens, and they should not be killed indiscriminately, with prevention through covering food and avoiding swatting, and if nest poses danger near home, contacting beekeeper for relocation rather than exterminator is best.
