Day and Night HVAC equipment is manufactured by International Comfort Products or ICP, which is a subsidiary of Carrier Global Corporation. Day and Night is one of ICP's six primary residential brands, along with Tempstar, Heil, Arcoaire, Keeprite, and Comfortmaker. All of these brands are produced in the same factories, primarily in Lewisburg, Tennessee, with additional production in other US and Mexican facilities. They share common engineering, components, and assembly lines, including Copeland compressors, aluminum coils, and gas furnace heat exchangers designed by Carrier. The Day and Night brand has a long history dating back to the early 1900s when Day and Night was an independent Los Angeles-based company that made water heaters and later air conditioners. It was eventually acquired and folded into what became ICP. Today, Day and Night is positioned as a value to mid-tier brand sold through independent HVAC distributors rather than Carrier factory authorized dealers. Its product lineup includes air conditioners up to about 17 SEER2, heat pumps, gas furnaces up to 96 percent AFUE, and air handlers, all with 10-year parts warranties when registered. So the manufacturer listed on the data plate is International Comfort Products LLC, a Carrier company, and the brand is marketed as Day and Night.
