Homeline breakers are made by Schneider Electric, the large French multinational company that owns the Square D brand, under which Homeline is sold. Homeline is Schneider Electric's affordable residential line of circuit breakers and load centers, positioned alongside the premium QO line. The manufacturing of Homeline breakers is done in Schneider Electric factories, primarily in Mexico, including plants in Tijuana and other locations that serve the North American market, with some components and other electrical products made in the United States and other global plants. Schneider Electric designs the breakers to meet UL standards, engineers them in its R&D centers in the US and France, and subjects them to strict quality control and testing. The breakers are then packaged as Square D Homeline by Schneider Electric and distributed to Home Depot, which is the exclusive big box retail partner, and to electrical wholesale distributors. Homeline breakers are one inch wide, have a distinctive design, and are available in standard, GFCI, AFCI, and dual function versions from 15 to 60 amps for residential use. So while you buy them at Home Depot, the manufacturer behind them is Schneider Electric, one of the world's largest electrical equipment makers.
