EnergyAustralia is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Group, one of the largest investor-owned power businesses in Asia based out of Hong Kong. CLP Group acquired the Australian energy retailer and generator, integrating its extensive portfolio of coal, gas, and renewable generation assets alongside its massive retail electricity and gas customer base across eastern Australia into its international energy network.
