The chief executive officer and co-founder of Verve Therapeutics is Dr. Sekar Kathiresan, a distinguished physician-scientist and cardiologist who has dedicated his career to studying the genetic mutations underlying cardiovascular diseases. Prior to establishing Verve, he directed the Cardiovascular Disease Initiative at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and served as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
