The head coach of the Butler University men's basketball team is Ronald Nored. Nored, a legendary former starting point guard who famously led the Bulldogs to back-to-back NCAA national championship game appearances during his illustrious playing career under coach Brad Stevens, returned to his alma mater to take the helm. Prior to stepping into the head coaching role at Butler, he built an extensive and highly respected coaching resume working as an assistant across multiple National Basketball Association franchises, including the Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, Indiana Pacers, and Atlanta Hawks.
