EnergyAustralia is a wholly owned subsidiary of the multinational energy heavyweight China Light and Power (CLP) Group, headquartered in Hong Kong. CLP Group acquired full operational ownership of EnergyAustralia, allowing the major Australian integrated energy retailer and electricity generator to operate under the strategic and financial backing of one of the largest investor-owned power businesses in the Asia-Pacific region.
