The athletic teams known as the Pitt Panthers represent the University of Pittsburgh, located centrally in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their primary athletic home venues—including the Petersen Events Center for basketball and various training facilities—are situated directly on campus, while major football games are hosted nearby at Acrisure Stadium on the city's North Shore, serving as the central hub for student and fan engagement.
