What's a fancy word for cleaning lady?

A fancy or more formal and respectful word for cleaning lady is housekeeper, housecleaner, domestic worker, cleaning professional, or environmental services technician in institutional settings. More upscale terms include housekeeping associate, residential housekeeper, domestic housekeeper, maid, or cleaning specialist. In hotels and hospitality, the formal title is room attendant or housekeeping attendant. In private households, personal housekeeper or estate housekeeper suggests a higher level of service. The term cleaning lady is considered outdated and gendered, so modern professional terms like housekeeping professional, cleaning professional, or janitorial professional are preferred as they are gender neutral and convey professionalism. For business purposes, you might use cleaning technician, sanitation specialist, or custodian. If you want a very fancy term for marketing luxury services, you could use home management specialist, domestic manager, or housekeeping manager, which emphasize expertise and professionalism beyond basic cleaning tasks.
