Whether Clean movie is worth watching depends on your taste for gritty redemption thrillers. Clean from 2021 starring Adrien Brody, who also co-wrote and produced, is a dark, atmospheric drama about a garbage man with a violent past trying to protect a young girl in his neighborhood from criminals. It has been praised for Brody's committed performance, moody cinematography, and emotional core about redemption and fatherhood, but criticized by some reviewers for familiar plot tropes and slow pacing. If you enjoy character-driven indie thrillers like You Were Never Really Here or gritty urban dramas with minimal dialogue and strong visual storytelling, you may find it worthwhile. It is not a fast-paced action blockbuster but more of a somber, violent, and introspective film with themes of guilt and second chances. Viewer reception is mixed to positive among fans of Adrien Brody, with many appreciating its style and emotional weight despite predictable story beats, so if you like atmospheric, serious dramas, it is worth a watch.
