Valspar is a full-line paint and coatings manufacturer used for almost every residential, commercial, and industrial painting need. For homeowners, its primary use is interior wall and ceiling painting, where its interior acrylic latex lines like Signature and Reserve provide washable, low-odor, low-VOC coverage for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. It is also heavily used for exterior applications including siding, stucco, brick, and wood trim, with its Duramax and SeasonFlex exterior lines formulated to resist fading, cracking, mildew, and temperature fluctuations. Beyond walls, Valspar makes specialty products widely used for cabinets and trim enamel, which provides a hard, factory-like finish for kitchen cabinets and doors, as well as porch and floor paint, concrete and garage floor epoxy kits, furniture spray paint, and anti-rust spray enamel for metal. Commercially, Valspar's industrial division, which predates the consumer paint, makes coil coatings for metal roofing, packaging coatings for beverage cans, and wood coatings for furniture, though consumers typically know it only for house paint sold at Lowe's.
