Standard commercial plate thicknesses generally begin as thin as 5 millimeters for specialized light-fabrication requirements and extend upward through 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 20mm, 32mm, and up to 50mm or more for heavy-duty mining, earthmoving, and defense applications. Custom rolling or specific heavy industrial grades can sometimes accommodate even thicker dimensions depending on the client's structural specifications and engineering requirements.
