Skye Bank in Nigeria has been officially rebranded and operates under the name Polaris Bank. Following severe capitalization challenges and intervention by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, a bridge bank was created to assume the assets and liabilities of the defunct institution, successfully transitioning all legacy branches and customer accounts into the newly structured Polaris Bank framework.
