In illicit drug culture and street slang lexicons, a "slab" can carry a few informal meanings depending on regional subcultures. Most frequently, it refers to a specific weight quantity or block-shaped package of illicit substances—such as pressed prescription pills, blocks of hashish, or packaged quantities of narcotics. However, drug terminology varies wildly by geography, making precise definitions dependent entirely on local underground market contexts.
