Depending on the slang context, "to crank someone" can have a few distinct meanings. In contemporary gaming and youth slang, particularly popular in competitive multiplayer video games, to "crank" on someone or to be "cranked" means to play exceptionally well, dominate an opponent, or show superior skill and fast mechanics against them. In older or regional colloquialisms, it could mean to annoy, bother, or wind someone up deliberately. Additionally, in rare literal contexts involving mechanical machinery, it could refer to operating a hand-cranked device associated with another person, though this is vastly overshadowed by modern slang usages.
