What does *77 do on your phone?
Dialing *77 on traditional landline and digital VoIP home phone services activates a feature known as Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR). When enabled, this service automatically intercepts incoming calls from callers who have deliberately blocked or hidden their caller ID information, playing a recorded message stating that the subscriber does not accept anonymous calls without ever making the recipient's phone ring. Note that this code is generally inactive on modern cellular mobile networks.
