Only Eaton Type BR circuit breakers are officially approved, designed, tested, and UL-listed to fit into an Eaton BR load center. While certain third-party classified replacement lines exist for specific niche legacy retrofits, installing non-approved alternative brands violates electrical building codes, compromises the physical bus bar connection, creates dangerous arcing and overheating risks, and voids the UL safety certification of the electrical equipment.
