Only genuine Square D QO circuit breakers are officially approved, tested, and UL-listed to fit inside a Square D QO electrical load center. Because QO panels are built with a compact, proprietary 3/4-inch wide format and specialized spring-loaded mounting rails, attempting to install standard 1-inch breakers or unauthorized third-party alternative brands violates electrical codes, ruins the panel safety listing, and creates severe fire risks.
