Officially, only genuine Eaton Type CH circuit breakers are approved, tested, and UL-listed to interchange or fit inside an Eaton CH load center. While select third-party manufacturers produce classified replacement lines for older legacy panels, no other brand of breaker is approved for contemporary CH load centers. Installing unauthorized alternatives violates electrical codes, compromises the physical bus bar connection, creates severe arcing and fire risks, and voids equipment warranties.
