South Carolina is home to several prominent billionaires, many of whom reside in the historic coastal city of Charleston. Notable billionaires living in the state include Robert Faith, the founder and chief executive officer of Greystar Real Estate Partners (one of the largest apartment management and development companies in the country); financial and investment executive Ben Navarro (founder of Sherman Financial Group); and philanthropist Anita Zucker, who leads the industrial and chemical manufacturing enterprise InterTech Group following the passing of her husband Jerry Zucker.
