Consumer reviews and plumbing feedback for the American Standard Champion toilet heavily praise its massive 4-inch piston flush valve, which clears dense solid waste effortlessly on a single flush and prevents clogging. Users appreciate the comfort-height seating and fast tank refill cycle. However, some critical reviews mention recurring issues with the flush seal gasket leaking over time, requiring periodic maintenance, and note that the large valve requires firm downward pressure on the handle.
