In terms of per capita GDP (Gross Domestic Product) adjusted for purchasing power parity and nominal wealth, Kuwait is significantly richer than India. Kuwait operates a high-income economy underpinned by massive state-managed petroleum reserves distributed across a small population base, resulting in a very high average individual income. Conversely, India features a much larger aggregate national economy, but its vast population yields a considerably lower per capita income average.
