No, Goodman is not made in Canada; Goodman Manufacturing is made primarily in the United States and Mexico, with headquarters and main factory in Waller, Texas, at the Daikin Texas Technology Park. Goodman was founded in 1982 in Houston, Texas, and is owned by Daikin Industries of Japan since 2012, which is the world's largest HVAC manufacturer headquartered in Osaka, Japan. Goodman's residential furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps sold in the United States and Canada are manufactured in Waller, Texas, and in other Daikin factories including some production in Mexico that serves North American markets, which is common for HVAC brands to have Mexican plants. While some electronic components may be globally sourced, final assembly for North America is done in the US and Mexico meeting UL, AHRI, and CSA standards. Goodman does have distribution and dealer networks in Canada with products certified for Canadian cold climate, but there is no Goodman manufacturing plant in Canada. Canadian-owned HVAC manufacturers include Napoleon Heating and Cooling headquartered in Barrie, Ontario, which does manufacture in Canada. So Goodman is American made by an American company owned by Japanese Daikin, not made in Canada, though widely sold in Canada.
