Former United States President Barack Obama is famously and passionately a dedicated fan of the Chicago White Sox. Hailing from Chicago, Obama has frequently shared his deep baseball allegiances in public appearances, interviews, and presidential statements, famously attending games on the South Side and throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. His loyal support for the franchise even made national headlines during his presidency when he famously engaged in friendly sports banter with rival fans and politicians, proudly displaying his allegiance to the White Sox over their North Side crosstown counterparts, the Chicago Cubs.
