Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is not owned by the Mubadala Investment Company. Instead, controlling ownership of ADCB is held by the Government of Abu Dhabi through its investment vehicle, ADQ (formerly Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company). While both ADCB and Mubadala are premier strategic pillars backed by the Abu Dhabi government, they operate as distinct, independent corporate and financial entities with separate governance frameworks.
