To wash a Leifheit microfiber duster or dusting pad, remove the cover from its plastic handle and hand wash or machine wash it using warm water (typically around 30°C to 40°C) with a mild liquid detergent. Crucially, do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or tumble dry on high heat, as these chemical additives coat the microscopic fibers, destroying their electrostatic trapping properties and ruining the cleaning efficacy of the microfiber material.
