Cornerstone Building Brands completed a strategic acquisition of Mueller Supply Company (operating as Mueller), a major Texas-based manufacturer of residential metal roofing, components, and steel buildings, for a total cash purchase price of 475 million US dollars. Announced to expand Cornerstone's retail-direct metal roofing footprint across the Southwest, the transaction more than doubled the company's regional retail branch network. Cornerstone funded the multi-million-dollar deal using a combination of internal cash on hand and borrowings drawn from its existing corporate credit facilities, anticipating substantial earnings accretion through purchasing synergies and distribution growth.
