Colgate University maintains a vibrant Jewish student community comprising roughly 300 to 350 undergraduate students, which accounts for approximately 10 percent of the total student population. Campus life for Jewish students is actively supported by organizations such as Hillel Colgate Jewish Union and Chabad, offering regular Shabbat dinners, religious services, holiday celebrations, and kosher dining options centered around dedicated community spaces on campus like the Saperstein Jewish Center.
