How do I start Access can mean Microsoft Access database software or how to start getting access to something. For Microsoft Access, to start Access on Windows, click Start menu, type Microsoft Access, click Access app, then choose blank database or template to create new database, or open existing accdb file. If you do not have Access, you need Microsoft 365 subscription with Access included or standalone Office Professional, as Access is Windows only and not included in basic Microsoft 365. You can also start Access by double clicking existing database file. For first time use, Access will show welcome screen with templates. If you mean how do I start getting access to something, you start by requesting permission, for example ask administrator for account, apply for access form, or obtain credentials. For building access, you request keycard from security. For digital resource, you request login. Provide reason why you need access. So starting Access either means launching software via Start menu or initiating request for permission to enter or use resource, depending on context.
