The University of Arizona football program has never captured an officially recognized consensus major national championship at the highest level of the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision. However, the program boasts an immensely proud historical legacy filled with undefeated seasons, prestigious conference titles, and memorable victories in major postseason bowl games like the Fiesta Bowl and the Alamo Bowl. While a national championship banner remains elusive, the program has historically produced legendary squads that achieved top-five national rankings.
