Yes, Spout is a legitimate crowdsourcing platform that compensates registered users for recording short scripts and participating in conversational audio sessions. The platform licenses these voice recordings to technology companies to train, evaluate, and benchmark speech-recognition and artificial intelligence systems. Contributors who pass the initial audio evaluation and complete approved tasks receive earnings deposited into their accounts, which are then paid out weekly through secure payment processing partners.
