Cadet-athletes representing the United States Military Academy at West Point do not receive traditional athletic salaries, name, image, and likeness cash payouts, or professional wages, as they are enrolled as active-duty service members and undergraduate students. However, every cadet attending a federal service academy receives a fully funded, comprehensive scholarship covering complete tuition, room, board, and medical care, alongside a monthly cadet stipend intended to cover basic personal expenses and uniform costs throughout their four-year academic tenure.
