Yes, Stiebel Eltron wall heaters are considered very good, especially in the premium electric heating category, and they have a strong reputation among architects, electricians, and homeowners in Europe and North America. Unlike cheap portable fan heaters, Stiebel Eltron wall heaters like the CK 20, CKT, and CK Premium series are engineered in Germany for permanent installation, quiet operation, and long-term energy efficiency. They use high-quality ceramic heating elements and precise electronic thermostats that maintain temperature within one degree, reducing energy waste. They are known for being extremely safe, with overheat protection, tip-over protection built into the wall mount, and no exposed glowing elements. They heat up quickly, are virtually silent, and have a slim, modern design that blends into a bathroom, office, or bedroom. The main downsides are that they are more expensive upfront than basic heaters and require hardwiring by an electrician rather than just plugging in. For supplemental heat, home offices, or rooms without central heating, they are consistently rated as one of the best options available and often last 15 to 20 years.
