Before being acquired by Ambuja Cements, Sanghi Industries was promoted, owned, and managed by the Sanghi family, led by Ravi Sanghi and his associates. The family founded the enterprise and built its flagship multi-product cement manufacturing complex in Sanghipuram, Gujarat, before divesting their controlling stake to the Adani Group.
