When analyzing head-to-head matchups, roster depth, and power rankings across Major League Baseball, the Los Angeles Dodgers are consistently favored over the New York Mets. The Dodgers' status as heavy favorites stems from their star-studded roster, multi-year championship pedigree, and high-end payroll flexibility. While the Mets feature an emerging core, elite star power, and competitive momentum under their front office, oddsmakers and analysts generally lean toward the Dodgers due to their sustained excellence and depth on both sides of the diamond.
