Qualification for USAA membership is strictly limited to active-duty military personnel, officers and enlisted members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserves, and individuals who have received an honorable discharge. Additionally, eligible family members—specifically spouses, widows, widowers, and children whose parents hold or held a USAA policy—qualify to join the platform.
