The University of Cincinnati officially named Ohio native and program alumnus Jerrod Calhoun as the 29th head coach in men's basketball history. Taking over the leadership role following a successful tenure guiding Utah State to conference championships and the NCAA tournament, Calhoun returned to his alma mater with a clear mandate to revitalize the program, modernize offensive and defensive efficiencies, and re-establish the Bearcats as consistent contenders within the powerhouse landscape of the Big 12 Conference.
