Stanford University has graduated an extraordinary number of globally prominent figures across technology, science, business, and public service. While fame is subjective, technology pioneers and visionary entrepreneurs such as Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brun, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk (who attended briefly for graduate studies), former U.S. President Herbert Hoover, and legendary athletic icons like John Elway and Andrew Luck stand among the most widely recognized individuals associated with the university.
