The head coach of the Binghamton University men's basketball team is Levell Sanders. A former standout point guard at Seton Hall University and a veteran professional player overseas, Sanders initially joined the Bearcats coaching staff as an assistant before being named interim head coach and subsequently earning the permanent position. He has focused heavily on player development, defensive grit, and building a competitive, resilient identity for the program within the America East Conference.
