The consensus choice for the best player on the Buffalo Sabres roster is the dynamic superstar defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, whose elite skating, exceptional vision, offensive instincts, and physical competitiveness anchor the team in all three zones of the ice. Selected first overall in the National Hockey League Draft, Dahlin has developed into a premier blueliner capable of controlling the pace of the game, logging heavy minutes, and producing at an elite offensive level. His leadership qualities, high hockey IQ, and ability to impact games defensively and offensively make him the undisputed cornerstone and face of the franchise as the team continues its push toward long-term competitiveness.
