The Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) is a Canadian provincial Crown corporation that is wholly owned by the Government of Alberta. Established to manage public sector pool funds, pension plans, and government endowments, AIMCo operates with operational and investment independence from the provincial government, managing assets on behalf of dozens of Alberta-based pension and institutional client funds.
