When comparing the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced and the flagship Smart Thermostat Premium, the Ecobee Premium is objectively better if you want maximum features. The Premium includes a luxurious metal body construction, a remote SmartSensor in the box, built-in indoor air quality monitoring for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and radar-based occupancy detection. The Enhanced model provides core Ecobee app features and scheduling at a lower price point but omits the air quality monitor, included sensor, and metal casing. Verification: Compare the feature lists and price points of both models to decide if built-in air quality tracking and included sensors justify the cost.
