Which Costco garbage disposal is best?

The best Costco garbage disposal is typically the InSinkErator Evolution series sold at Costco, particularly the InSinkErator Evolution Essential or Evolution Select Plus that Costco carries as warehouse exclusives. Costco usually sells InSinkErator models under names like InSinkErator Evolution Select Plus, Evolution Essential, and sometimes Badger models, often in 2-packs or with extra accessories at good value. The best among them is the Evolution Essential or Evolution Select Plus, which offers 3/4 horsepower, 2-stage grind technology, and SoundSeal quiet technology that is 40 percent quieter than Badger, making it much quieter at 60 to 65 decibels versus 75 decibels for Badger. The Evolution Essential has stainless steel grind components, auto-reverse to prevent jams, and 9-year warranty, while Badger has galvanized steel and 2-year warranty. At Costco, the Evolution Select Plus often costs $250 to $350 CAD or USD, which is good value compared to $400 at other retailers, and comes with power cord included. The Badger 5 sold at Costco for $100 to $150 is cheaper but noisier and less durable. Consumer reviews at Costco average 4.7 stars for Evolution Essential versus 4.3 for Badger. So best Costco garbage disposal is InSinkErator Evolution Essential or Select Plus for quiet, durable, powerful grinding, while best budget is Badger 5 if you want cheap. Costco also offers good return policy.
